Embroidery Craftsmanship

Traditional Chinese embroidery is an exquisite pure-hand craft. Different from machine embroidery, traditional artisans regard needles as brushes and threads as ink. Every finished piece requires rigorous manual procedures and years of professional experience. The complete embroidery craft includes seven core processes: material selection, thread sorting, fabric stretching, stitching creation, thread finishing and overall polishing.
Artisans select premium mulberry silk and high-quality satin with flexible texture and natural luster. Raw silk threads are split into extremely thin strands to ensure delicate and translucent visual effects. Fabrics are tightly fixed on embroidery frames to guarantee flat and neat surfaces. With dozens of classic stitching techniques including layering stitch, flat stitch and shading stitch, artisans stack threads layer by layer to present natural color gradients and vivid pattern layers.
Without mass-produced templates, hand embroidery relies entirely on artisans’ aesthetics and experience. Every stitch is subtly adjusted, making each artwork unique. The final polishing process trims excess threads and smooths the fabric, presenting neat, glossy and uniform finished works.
Adhering to traditional handcraft essence, SinoCrafted integrates authentic ancient embroidery techniques into modern oriental-style bags and accessories. Rejecting industrial mass production, we turn every product into an exclusive intangible cultural heritage artwork.
